Thunderstruck: America's AC/DC Tribute brings the full high-voltage AC/DC concert experience to Wytheville, just the way fans remember it.
These five musicians are obsessed with getting every detail right, from the tones and gear to the raw energy of a live AC/DC show. Kyle LaPato channels Angus Young of the '80s and '90s. Bobby Lee Stamper delivers vocals in the style of both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. Kevin Feller on rhythm guitar, Corey Baetz on drums and Chris Jones on bass round out a powerhouse rhythm section.
Since forming in 2015, Thunderstruck has sold out shows from coast to coast. They have played House of Blues venues and major festivals such as Pensacola Tribute Fest. They are also the only AC/DC tribute in the country with a national brand sponsor: Number Juan Tequila, owned by comedians Ron White and Alex Reymundo.
From "Highway to Hell" to "Back in Black" to "You Shook Me All Night Long," get ready for a nostalgic road trip through AC/DC's greatest hits, played loud and live. Let there be rock!
