Holland and Hanes are a powerhouse blues and soul band from the New River Valley. Melissa Holland grew up singing in church and brings the same passion and power to her blues singing. Thor Hanes is an award-winning harp player who, in coordination with the newriverbluessociety.com, directs a nonprofit that has given away over 500 harmonicas and counting, along with lessons, to students young and old. Henry Lazenby is the fiery and dynamic guitarist with local favorites Bunco and Seedpicker.
