Join us for a very special evening celebrating the life, music, and enduring legacy of John Prine.

The night begins with a screening of You Got Gold, the acclaimed documentary that explores John Prine’s remarkable songwriting, humor, humanity, and profound influence on American music. Following the film, the evening continues with a live, curated tribute featuring a lineup of local musicians performing beloved John Prine songs that have become part of the fabric of their lives.

This event is proudly sponsored by Creekside Meadows and is presented in memory of dear friends—Dennis Reynolds, Thomas Hunter, George Fisher, and Fred Starling—musicians and companions with whom these songs were shared for many years. Their spirit, friendship, and love of music live on through the songs that meant so much to all of us.

Rather than an open jam, this tribute will be a thoughtfully arranged performance showcasing a variety of local artists—many of whom have played together over the years in different combinations, including the unofficial Creekside Meadows house band, The Reed Creek Symphony. Performers will appear in curated sets, honoring both John Prine’s legacy and the friendships that his music helped build.

Come celebrate the songs, the stories, and the people who made them unforgettable.
