Dear Friends of the Millwald,

Due to the winter weather and unsafe travel conditions, tonight’s Holiday Pops with the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra at the Millwald Theatre has been cancelled.

This was an incredibly difficult decision, but the safety of our musicians, staff, volunteers, and patrons must come first. With the current and forecasted conditions, the Millwald Theatre and the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra are in agreement that cancelling tonight’s performance is in everyone’s best interest.

To continue offering a symphonic holiday experience to our audience and to show appreciation for your understanding, the Millwald Theatre and the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra will present Holiday Brass on Monday, December 15, powered by Hitachi and Skyline National Bank. As a courtesy, all Holiday Pops ticket holders may attend that performance, plus any other remaining holiday show at the Millwald.

What This Means for Your Tickets

Our box office will be in touch with ticket holders regarding next steps for:

Moving your ticket to Holiday Brass, and another holiday event, or process credits/refunds

You do not need to call the box office immediately; we will follow up as soon as all details are confirmed and work through all orders.

We know many of you were looking forward to making this concert part of your holiday traditions, and we share your disappointment. Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to support live music and the arts in our community.
