All About Accents

Ready to travel the world without leaving the stage? In this exciting theater class, kids will explore the sounds, rhythms, and quirks of accents from across the globe—and even a few close to home! Through fun vocal warm-ups, listening games, and line practice, students will learn the building blocks of regional dialects, including how to shape vowels, adjust pitch, and master speech patterns that make each accent unique.

Whether it’s a posh British detective, a Southern storyteller, or a New York City cabbie, kids will discover how to make their characters sound authentic and effortless. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, vocal control, and a deeper understanding of how voice helps bring a role to life.
